The White House struck back on the Death Star appeal

The White House has destroyed the hopes of Star Wars fans across the Galaxy by rejecting a formal petition, which called for the u.s. Government to build the Death Star-a fictional character, an alien planet that is destroying the iconic movies featured on the space station.

More than 30,000 people signed the petition, which the United States Government resources and funding and begin the construction of the Death Star by 2016.

Paul Shawcross, the White House Budget Office-science and space Branch said, to build the Death Star would be simply too expensive.

"The Death Star construction is estimated to cost more than $ US850, 000, 000, 000, 000, 000," he said.

"We are trying to reduce the deficit, Expand it.

"The Administration shares your concern about the creation of new jobs and a strong defense, but the Death Star is not in sight.

"The Administration does not support blowing up planets."

The White House will accept all petitions and more than 25 000 signatures.

Quirky Petitions has proved popular in the past few weeks, according to the Government's Mint coin worth $ US1 trillion.

The petition claimed the death star project to create jobs and strengthen national defense.

Mr Shawcross says when the USA does not have the Death Star, there are many projects in the sectors of space, such as the International Space Station.

"If a career in science, technology, engineering or math field, the force is with us!", he said.

"Remember, the Death Star power to destroy the planet, or even an entire star system, is insignificant next to the power of power."
